We led development of Ibby Njoya's Studio website using the latest versions of 3.js, Next.js and WebGL to evoke a fluid digital experience showcasing his work.
Ibby Njoya Studios | Interactive Artist Website When artist Ibby Njoya approached us to design his studio website, the goal was clear: create a digital experience that felt less like a portfolio and more like an interactive artwork. Ibby’s vision centred around a floating Persian-rug inspired canvas, suspended within the screen. As visitors move their cursor, subtle movements ripple across the surface, revealing fragments of artwork as if they are emerging from the fabric itself. Bringing this to life required deep exploration into WebGL and real-time 3D rendering. Through multiple prototypes and collaboration with creative technologists, we developed a system that allows Ibby’s work to move dynamically within the browser — blending art, motion and interaction. Built with WebGL, Three.js, Tailwind, Sanity and Vercel, the final result is a lightweight but immersive digital canvas for Ibby’s work.
